I'm Richard Jucker - the creator and owner of The Village Bakery. As a native Houstonian, I have spent almost my entire adult life either in the bakery business or in food services. Although my father was one of the original owners of Three Brothers Bakery, and I worked there from 1981 to 1999, it wasn't until May 2013 that I had the opportunity to open my own bakery.

I spent years perfecting my craft of baking, as well as custom cake design - from sculptures, hand-painted portrait cakes, as well as wedding cakes. If it's a custom creation you need, I'll work closely with you in the planning process to come up with a design that combines quality and creativity.
